Runs with IBM iYes ... Native IBM i dedicated driver from IBM i 7.4 TR5 (IBM i I/O page). IBM i 7.4 TR8 or 7.5 TR2 can direct attach an 8 Gb FC tape drive without a SAN switch.

REDP-5675 footnote says IBM i 7.5 or 7.4 TR6; the IBM i I/O Support Details page says native support arrived in 7.4 TR5.

IBM Docs also places it in EMX0 and ENZ0 drawers, so any Power10 with a drawer can use it; REDP-5649 lists it for the E1080 (max 192). The E1050 supports AIX and Linux only.

Before you order EN1J

Fibre Channel cards connect the server to a storage network (SAN) or tape. Low profile cards fit the shorter 2U servers. Full height cards fit the taller 4U servers. If a card has a twin code, the twin is the same card in the other height.
