Power 10 Is Not Obsolete Because Power 11 Exists
New generations change the decision boundary. They do not erase every rational use case for the prior generation. Power 10 remains a useful platform when the workload is stable, the configuration is known, the support path is clean, and the cost difference against Power 11 remains material.
The mistake is treating Power 10 as either fully current or fully obsolete. In 2026 it is a maturity and economics question.
